7th International Materials Education Symposium
An interactive workshop on Materials and Sustainable Development has also been announced, as an option for those attending the Short Course on Weds, April 8. It will be led by Professor Mike Ashby and Dr Tatiana Vakhitova. More details are available online. Hosted by the University of Cambridge, the Symposium brings together educators, researchers, students, and practitioners from a range of fields for discussion of ideas, experiences, and trends related to the teaching of materials science and materials engineering. This year’s theme is 'Innovation in teaching and materials in products'. Submission is open for poster abstracts until Feb 28. Accepted posters are guaranteed a two minute presentation at a poster teaser session. Space is limited (see below) so submit now to avoid missing out.
