This will be a full presential workshop taking place in November, from 17 to 18, 2022 at the University of Aveiro, Aveiro, Portugal.

The workshop consists of:

1. a set of talks/lectures on different aspects of the current ceramic industry status, from technologies to the market and on options for ceramics industry decarbonization, such as electrification, heating and heat recovery, biofuels, waste recovering, and other emerging innovations;

2. case studies on the successful industrial implementation of options to decarbonize;

3. short oral presentations of R&D work of the participants (PhD students and researchers);

4. Rump session, debate, and matchmaking event.
