Congratulations to the 2023 FEMS Awards winners

 

FEMS European Materials Gold Medal – Professor Joao Mano (SPM)

FEMS Materials Science & Technology Prize – Dr Constantinos Stoumpos (HSSTCM)

Speaking about his award, Professor Mano says, ‘Wonderful news. I'm very happy to have been the recipient of this prestigious award.'

Thanks to the FEMS Awards Selection Committee members Asst Prof Anna Zervaki (FEMS President), Prof Aldo Boccaccini (FEMS Vice-President), Prof Paula Vilarinho and Dr Gerhard Hackl.

Prof Eric Le Bourhis, Chair of the Awards Selection Committee noted, 'The announcement of the FEMS Awards winners is always an important and enthusiastic moment for FEMS, acknowledging utmost contributions in Materials Science and Engineering we are so proud of.
