The 18th ECASIA will be held from 15th to 20th September 2019 in Dresden, Germany - also called the “Florence of the North”.

The ECASIA’19 conference will be organized in Dresden initiated by the Institute of Solid State and Materials Research (IFW Dresden) in cooperation with the Technical University Dresden (TUD) and other academic and industrial partners of the region. We hope to continue the conference series in the “spirit of ECASIA” to bring together scientists from universities, industry and instrument suppliers, to bridge the gap between fundamental and applied research in surface science and to follow new trends in instrumentation.

The “Submission of Abstracts” for our conference is already running and will remain open until 22nd April 2019 on our conference webpage www.ecasia2019.com.

We invite you to start already submitting also a preliminary version of your abstract only - the abstract can be edited by you up to the final date!

In addition, you will later have the opportunity to publish a full version of your paper in a special issue of the Wiley journal “Surface and Interface Analysis”. Details of the procedure of the online submission to SIA will be follow at our webpage soon. As a regular participant of the conference you will have full access to this SIA volume. The deadline for submission will be after the conference - planned is the 4th October 2019.
