Celebrating the 20th anniversary of CICECO – Aveiro Institute of Materials, 20 world scientific leaders will open new avenues for the future of materials science and technology.

The celebrations will start with a cycle of International Webinars on Materials (IWMat). IWMat will promote a series of cutting-edge conferences held on remotely, to explore the frontiers of knowledge of the relevant topics in the field of Materials science and technology, crossing the areas of Energy, Information and Communication Technology, Sustainability, and Health, focusing the research developed under the topics of CICECO’s Groups.

During one year, 20 world scientific leaders will discuss with us the latest research in their respective fields opening new avenues for the future of materials science and technology crossing all aspects of society.
