We are delighted to announce that FEMS Junior EUROMAT, hosted by FEMS member society IOM3, has been shortlisted in the Best Event Management category of the 2025 Memcom Excellence Awards.

In addition, Dr Kate Thornton CEng CSci FIMMM, Immediate Past President of IOM3, is a finalist in the Best President category.

The Memcom Excellence Awards celebrate outstanding achievements across the membership sector, recognising innovation, leadership, and impactful contributions in professional associations and membership organisations.

Being shortlisted for these awards is a prestigious recognition of the commitment, creativity, and hard work of the IOM3 team and volunteers who continue to support our shared mission of advancing materials science and engineering across Europe.

The awards ceremony will take place in September 2025, and we look forward to celebrating this achievement with peers across the sector.
