FEMS, being a member of the Alliance for Materials (A4M), supported the HORIZON2020 project MATCH – Materials Common House as a partner from January 2015 until the end of the project in June 2017.
FEMS was active in various work-packages. Amongst others, FEMS was active in supporting the MATCH database on regional, national and European R&D projects in all fields of materials as well as establishing A4M Sector Technical Expert groups in four main industrial sectors – energy, transportation, construction, health and creative industries which have already met twice in Leuven, Belgium. The goal of these meetings was to provide insight for the industry of innovative material properties and future system functions. A further workshop is planned for later this year.
