The Portuguese Materials Society (SPM) is pleased to announce and support the REFLEX Workshop | Responsive Polymer Systems for Next-Generation Flexible Electronics, which will take place on 9–10 April 2026 at CICECO – Aveiro Institute of Materials, University of Aveiro (Portugal).

This international workshop will bring together researchers working on responsive and electroactive (bio)polymer systems and will serve as a kick-off meeting for the establishment of a future European Network on Responsive Polymers.

The scientific programme will address key topics including:

• Design, processing, and characterization of responsive polymer systems

• AI-assisted materials discovery

• Applications in energy and electronic devices

Early-Stage Researchers are particularly encouraged to participate.
