Prof Anna Fraczkiewicz

Anna FRACZKIEWICZ, research director (emeritus since January 1st 2026) in Ecole des Mines in St-Etienne, France, graduated from Politechnika Warszawska (WUT, Warsaw, Poland) and earned her PhD in « Mines », France. Her research activity deals with the design and optimisation of metallic alloys, especially steels, intermetallics and complex alloys (HEA, MPEA).

Strongly involved in activities of SF2M, she was president of the association for 2023-2025 and is currently its past president.
