The FEMS Master Thesis Award Final will take place today (Wednesday), from 14:30 to 17:00, EEST, local time in Greece, at the Tsitsanis Museum during FEMS Junior Euromat 2026.

The 2026 FEMS Master Thesis Award National Finalists represent eight outstanding young researchers nominated by FEMS Member Societies.

The finalists are Cristian Cascioli (AIM), Andrada Buda (DGM), Sophia Soupiou (HMS), Maria Chrysidou (HSSTCM), Monika Rejek (PTM), Ariane ROLLANDIN (SF2M), José Lorenzo Calderón Solís (SOCIEMAT), and Fábio Brandão (SPM).

Their work spans a broad range of materials science and engineering topics, including biomaterials, hydrogen technologies, catalysis, functional nanomaterials, advanced manufacturing, structural materials, smart materials, and photonics, showcasing the excellence, innovation, and diversity of emerging materials research across Europe.
