Society profile

The Czech Society for New Materials and Technologies (CSNMT), which was founded in 1993, is an association of more than 100 individual and collective members from academy, universities as well as industry of the Czech Republic (CZ). They represent topic experts in the field of R&D of new materials and technologies in the Czech Republic. Since 1993 CSNMT has been a member of the Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS), since 2004 it has been a member of the Czech Association of Scientific and Technical Societies (CSVTS).

The activities of CSNMT are directed towards an all-round development of members’ creative abilities and professional knowledge, satisfying their technical and societal needs, supporting research and development in the area of new materials and technologies, inclusive of their applications in production practice, and supporting international cooperation.
