The FEMS European Journal of Materials (EJM) has reached another important milestone, achieving a 2025 CiteScore of 6.1, continuing its remarkable upward trajectory and reinforcing its position as one of Europe’s leading open-access journals in materials science and engineering.
The journal’s CiteScore has more than doubled in just two years:
- 2023: 2.5
- 2024: 4.6
- 2025: 6.1
According to the latest Scopus metrics, EJM is now ranked:
- #83 out of 256 journals in Materials Science
- Q2, with continued progress towards the first quartile (Q1)
